There is no doubt that the government wants Edward Snowden very badly and that the diplomatic channels are already smoking for his extradition. The Empire absolutely seeks to do to Edward Snowden what it did to Bradley Manning - criminally prosecute him and imprison him forever for the crime of disclosing government crimes against the constitution and humanity. Most Congress Critters are vigorously defending the American Nazified Police State that they voted to create, although there are a few exceptions.

Robert Mueller, director of the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), told the House Judiciary Committee (HJC) that Edward Snowden’s exposure of the National Security Agency (NSA) PRISM program caused “significant harm” to national security.
Mueller confirmed that Snowden is the center of an “ongoing criminal investigation” because the US government has been left “vulnerable” by the whistleblower’s actions.
Mueller told the HJC: “One of the great vulnerabilities terrorists understand is their communications. If we lose our ability get their communications, we are going to be exceptionally vulnerable.”
The FBI director contended that if PRISM had been in effectual use over a decade ago the attacks on 9/11 would never have happened.
House Representative John Conyers said that “the government’s activity exceeds the authority that Congress provided” in this “nationwide dragnet.”
Mueller asserted that “every time that we have a leak like this – and if you follow it up and you look at the intelligence afterwards” – the terrorists “are looking at the ways around it.”…
Attorney General Eric Holder said that Snowden (without mentioning his name) has been “extremely damaging” to national security as a result of the leaks concerning the US government surveillance programs, while speaking in Dublin Ireland to the US-European Union (EU) ministerial meeting of law enforcement officials.
Holder pointed out: “The national security of the United States has been damaged as a result of those leaks. The safety of the American people and the safety of people who reside in allied nations have been put at risk as a result of these leaks.”
